We had departed Rekjavik at 1pm earlier that afternoon and we would be in Akureyri tomorrow.
The inspiration for the dinner tonight was Sage.
This was the baby shrimp salad. It had a very small serving of caviar on top.
Mustard Crusted Roast Beef.
Roasted Chicken.
The fish dish on a bed of mashed potatoes.
The Singapore noodles, with some prawns. Does it taste like the noodles we get in Singapore? Well, not quite. But still, I applaud the effort.
Pot pie.
Time for desserts.
What was this? Chocolate sensation, maybe.
My kids had ice-cream every night. It was good.
Chocolate peacan tart. Also good.
Cappucino Layered cake.
With the flash. I think the food pictures look better with the flash turned on.
Another shot of the trifle.
The camera focussed on the mint leaf. Interesting.
And the chocolate sensation.
A very satisfying dinner. Cruising allows us to try all sorts of food. There were 6 of us in my group and we ate family-style, so we could all try the various dishes and desserts. Every night was a treat!
Happy cruising!
