This entire road was blocked off by protestors for almost two months. Fortunately, the protestors have now decided to return the streets to the public and congregate at a park to protest, rather than try to bring Bangkok to a standstill.

It wasn't crowded. Not much traffic.
On the right is Amarin plaza.
Very clear road, which was supposed to be unusual.
For this trip, we stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, which was a short walk away from this famous junction. In fact I am publishing this blog from the comfort of my hotel room!
